Pancypriot Association of Professional Coastal Fishermen

Pancypriot Association of Professional Coastal Fishermen is the official association representing all professional small-scale fishers (SSF) in Cyprus, including both full-time and part-time fishers operating vessels under 12 meters. Using traditional, low-impact gear such as nets, longlines, traps, and handlines, the sector holds 327 active coastal fishing licenses. While small in scale, SSF plays a vital role in Cyprus’s coastal economy and heritage, sustaining local communities and preserving a traditional way of life.
