\u201cHet is van vitaal belang om de kleinschalige visserij te beschermen. Dit betekent dat we eerlijke toegang tot mariene hulpbronnen moeten garanderen en vissers moeten betrekken bij de beslissingen die hen aangaan. Zonder deze garanties zal een hele generatie jongeren die van een toekomst in de visserij droomt, gedwongen worden het op te geven. Het betekent ook de geleidelijke verdwijning van kustgemeenschappen die ervan afhankelijk zijn en de ondergang van kleinschalige vissers die steeds meer moeite hebben om van hun passie te leven.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Gwen Pennarun is al meer dan 40 jaar actief in de kleinschalige visserij en is momenteel voorzitter van zowel de Brittany Handliners Association als de Low Impact Fishers of Europe (LIFE).<\/span><\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
