International Collective in Support of Fishworkers (ICSF)

The International Collective in Support of Fishworkers (ICSF) is a global NGO dedicated to promoting equitable, gender-just, self-reliant, and sustainable small-scale fisheries. Founded following the 1984 International Conference of Fishworkers and their Supporters in Rome, ICSF advocates for the rights and recognition of artisanal fishers and fishing communities in national, regional, and international policy processes. Working closely with fishworker organizations and allied groups, ICSF envisions a future where fishing communities live with dignity, enjoying their rights to livelihood, decent work, and responsible resource use.
