Snowchange ist in der traditionellen finnischen Waldkultur verwurzelt und ehrt das Wissen, die Geschichten, das Handwerk, die Fischerei und die Jagd der Vorfahren. Die Organisation arbeitet auch als globales Netzwerk mit indigenen V\u00f6lkern wie den Saami, Inuit, Gwitchin, Maori und anderen zusammen. Unter der Leitung eines internationalen Lenkungsausschusses verbindet Snowchange kulturelles Erbe mit modernster Wissenschaft und arbeitet mit globalen Institutionen wie dem Arktischen Rat und dem IPCC zusammen, um den Klimawandel, die biologische Vielfalt und die Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit von Gemeinschaften zu f\u00f6rdern.
